As of 2013, the Republic of Korea boasts world-class level of informatization, leaping from ‘boosting informatization’ and entering into the era of knowledge information. One of the remarkable and representative media to enjoy the knowledge information is the Internet. However, to information minority group including persons with disabilities and senior citizens whose access to the Internet is difficulty, the era of knowledge information is too far in the future.

To that end, the Web Accessibility Certification Mark started. The ‘WA Certification Mark’ is the abbreviation of the Web Accessibility Quality Site Certification Mark, certifying Web sites that everyone with or without disabilities can easily access.
